Past, present and future generations
Aimed at retired midwives, active midwives and midwifery residents. Open to all active or retired professionals of the Comprehensive Health Consortium.
Targets
1. Recognize and value the career of midwives who are no longer active and highlight stories and experiences from their professional careers.
2. Create a space where anecdotes, learnings and advice can be shared with present and future generations.
3. Facilitate intergenerational meetings, which encourage dialogue and analyze how the profession has evolved and what challenges it poses.
4. Reflect on changes in the profession. How technology influences midwifery.
5. Inspire new generations: motivate future generations with stories of involvement and commitment, through sharing advice for professional practice from experience.
On the occasion of International Hand Hygiene Day, and related to the work of midwives, there will also be a presentation of a video about midwives and their role in handwashing, and a brief session on handwashing.
