II Nutrition Conference: Disease-related malnutrition: the challenge that needs to be solved

Aimed at health professionals involved in caring for patients with malnutrition related to the disease (medicine, nursing and nutrition and dietetics) in family and community medicine and in specialized medicine.

Targets:

• Increase awareness about malnutrition related to the disease.
• Update the parameters for nutritional assessment and diagnosis.
• Update protocols and treatments for malnutrition related to the disease.
• Improve communication between healthcare professionals involved in disease-related malnutrition (continuous care), given that its approach is multidisciplinary.

Accreditation requested to the Catalan Council for Continuing Education of the Health Professions – Commission on Continuing Education of the National Health System.
