The Consorci Sanitari Integral is a legal entity public body of the Generalitat de Catalunya, majority owned by CatSalut and in which the Sant Joan Despí City Council, the Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council, the Baix Llobregat Regional Council, the Catalan Institute of health and the Red Cross.
It manages different health and social centers and an intermediate care center and services in its areas of influence: the Hospitalet de Llobregat Nord, the Baix Llobregat Center and Fontsanta and the Integral Health Area Barcelona Dreta.
The consortium entities are represented in the entity's highest governing body: the Board of Directors.
The Governing Council is the highest governing body. It is made up of 11 representatives of the consortium entities: the Catalan Health Service, the Catalan Institute of Health, the Baix Llobregat Regional Council, the Sant Joan Despí Town Council, the Hospitalet de Llobregat Town Council and the Red Cross
Its main functions are the general orientation of the Consortium's activities within the Entity's statutory objectives and the approval of strategic plans and multi-year action plans, reflected in the annual budget; the approval of the annual accounts, which include the balance sheet at the end of the year, the profit and loss account and the report corresponding to the previous year, and the approval of the liquidation of the annual budget. All actions refer to the Good Governance Code.
