In L'Hospitalet de Llobregat
On Monday, the facilities will remain open to visitors and throughout the day photographs of the various events that have taken place during these five years will be projected. The inaugural event will be attended by Carmela Fortuny, director general of the Catalan Institute of Social Assistance and Services (ICASS); Dolors Fernández, deputy mayor of the Welfare and Family area of Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council and Joaquim Seharrima, president of the Integral Health Consortium.
In the morning, different workshops will take place in which users, family members of users and professionals from the center will participate: laughter therapy, relaxation, dance, board games, etc. In the afternoon and with the name "Five years of coexistence", there will be a talk where professionals from the center will explain experiences lived in the Residence since its opening. Afterwards there will be a music show with the participation of users, volunteers from the parish of Enric Ossò and professionals from the centre.
On Tuesday morning, the previous day's workshops will continue, and in the afternoon, there will be a stage performance by Grup Fantasia, from the Santa Eulàlia Cultural Centre.
Relatives of former users of the Residence, former professionals who worked there and all the people and entities that collaborate with the center are also invited to participate in the events.
The Francisco Padilla Residence is located in the Can Serra neighborhood of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Av. Electricitat 35-43) and serves the districts IV la Florida and les Plaines and V Can Serra and Pubilla Houses. The building has 4.329 useful m2, spread over six floors. In total it has 80 beds distributed in 14 double and 52 single rooms.
The Residence has an assisted living service, with a capacity of 80 places, and a daytime reception service with 30 places.
