Hospital General de l'Hospitalet will soon host the Breastfeeding Promoters Course, which will take place on November 28, December 19, 2011, January 9 and 16, 2012, from 9.30:18.30 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
place: Teaching room L'Hospitalet General Hospital. Av. Josep Molins, 29-41, Hospitalet de Llobregat.
Organize: Associació Catalana de Llevadores, the Institute of Health Studies and the Maternal and Child Health Program of the Directorate General of Public Health, in collaboration with the Hospital General de l'Hospitalet and with the support of the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality.
Aimed at: Midwives, pediatric nurses, obstetricians and paediatricians, from the hospital and primary care.
Description: The participants will work in groups and there will be practical demonstrations and simulations. Observation and clinical practice will also be done. To obtain the certificate, attendance at a minimum of 80% of the course will be required.
Targets: Reinforce and enhance the capacity of the health professionals in charge
of the care of mothers, babies and children, providing them with the tools and skills necessary to support, promote, protect and improve breastfeeding.
