The session will be held as a multidisciplinary approach and will be structured in two parts:

1) New developments in atrial fibrillation treatment strategies and stroke prevention (cardiologist: Dr Platas, neurologist: Dr Millet)

2) New developments in deep vein thrombosis treatment strategies and prevention of pulmonary thromboembolism (Vascular surgeon: Dr Corominas, pulmonologist Dr Santiveri)”
