Workshop on positive education and healthy habits - Prevention of drug use

16November

  • 16/11/2017

The positive education workshop has six sessions of one and a half hours each (from 18:00 to 19:30 on Thursday afternoon) and aims to guide, help and give tools to mothers and fathers in the relationship with sons and daughters through positive parenting. When we talk about positive parenting, we do so from two main angles. Positive in that it focuses on positive emotions (joy, excitement, hope), positive personality traits (creativity, empathy, extraversion) and positive institutions (family, school, extracurricular activities). On the other hand, we say that it is positive that it is a determination of families to reflect on their way of exercising positive parenting. Our intention is far from providing a unique model of parenting, rather what we want is for mothers and fathers to openly talk and learn about their role as parents through open dialogue and shared experience with other mothers and fathers. Specifically, the intention is that the families of teenagers can talk about the challenges that interest them the most regarding the education of their sons and daughters in adolescence.

The teenager begins to have contact with nightlife and to make decisions about his body. This session is aimed at how we can talk to our children to avoid consumption or contact with substances that are dangerous.
