Major Ambulatory Surgery (CMA) has been gradually and increasingly incorporated into the different Surgical Services of our hospitals, with a good participation and involvement of surgeons, allowing, however, to improve the management of increasingly tight health resources.
Two of the surgical specialties that from the beginning incorporated procedures via CMA were Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology, which in the debates dedicated to CMA are not likely to present the new additions, techniques and results, to be able to assess together with the other professionals involved in the CMA.
At the proposal of the Catalan Society of Major Ambulatory Surgery, we have organized this 14th Conference to share together with anesthesia, nursing and Primary Care professionals, the almost 20 years of experience in CMA.
