Medical students
The Gynecology and Obstetrics Service is a teaching unit of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, with 30 students per year. We have two associate professors who supervise the students and teach at the faculty.
Nursing students
The Hospital is the site of the Maternal-Infant Practicum of the University of Barcelona.

Postgraduate
El Gynecology and Obstetrics Service has the accreditation of the Ministerio de Sanidad as a multidisciplinary teaching unit for the training of one resident internal medicine position (MIR) per year and three resident internal nurses in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology per year (IIR – midwives).
The center participates in the training of family doctors in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
We facilitate training stays at the specialist center, both national and international.

- Knowledge update for midwives and nursing professionals in breastfeeding.
- Annual neonatal resuscitation course in the delivery room for professionals.
- Simulations of obstetric and neonatal emergencies for professionals in the area.
