The Dos de Maig Hospital and the Transversal Hospital (formed by the Hospital General de l'Hospitalet-Hospital Sociosanitari de l'Hospitalet-Hospital de Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi) have been awarded in different indicators at the CSC benchmarking awards / ARQ 2019.
In the case of theHospital Dos de Maig, the center has obtained the diploma in the indicator of major outpatient surgery, in the mortality and also in that of returns. This means that it is part of a group of centers that obtain the best results in this field, when compared with the average of all participants.
For its part, theTransversal Hospital has entered the group of awardees with the best results in the indicator of major outpatient surgery.
The CSC / ARQ 2019 benchmarking awards are promoted by the Consorci de Salut i Social de Catalunya (CSC) and Benchmarking Sanitari 3.0. It is a project that examines performance and quality analysis with the aim of overcoming the current limitation of information sources and enabling participating centers to share more than just data and results. Higia Benchmarking collaborates in this CSC project in the technical section, in the definition and construction of the indicators of efficiency, adequacy and care quality that have been used to identify the Benchmark hospitals. In order to perform this Benchmark assessment, the results obtained from the CMBD information of the participating hospitals are analyzed using the adjusted comparative analyzes of the Healthcare Benchmarking 3.0® (BS3) platform.
