The project Enjoy and gain health - Physical activity for women, promoted by the Intercultural Community Process (PCI) of Collblanc-la Torrassa and the community health driving group of the CAP Collblanc and the CAP la Torrassa, has obtained the 2nd prize in the S XXII SEMFYC awards for projects of community activities in primary care (PACAP)The prize, which was awarded to PACAP Meeting 2025, recently celebrated.
The project has been recognized for its contribution to health promotion since biopsychosocial perspective at the community level, as these awards seek to recognize and promote initiatives that foster health care and promotion in the field of primary care.
Enjoy and gain health - Physical activity for women is aimed at adult women of the territory and, through physical activity as a transversal axis, reflection is made on healthy habits, emotional well-being and knowledge of local resourcesThe project has had the collaboration of different professionals from primary care centers, the PCI and various services and resources in the municipality, which has favored networking and community strengthening.
Data collected through questionnaires given to women before and after the implementation of the program show improvements in various areas: increased physical exercise, improved nutrition, reduced tobacco consumption and increased perception of social support and emotional well-being.
The interest shown by the participants to continue, once the program ended, has led to the creation of a self-managed group, which remains active today. In this way, a community space for self-care has been consolidated that promotes the maintenance of acquired habits.
El health motor group Collblanc-la Torrassa Community Center is a group and space for coordination and participation within primary care centers, made up of nursing professionals, social workers, dietitians-nutritionists, physiotherapists and community emotional well-being leaders, who work together to promote health and well-being of the population of the territory. Its main function is promote community actions that respond to the real needs of the community, based on shared diagnosis, identification of health assets and planning of interventions. In addition, the group promotes collaboration between services, connects existing resources and ensures equitable and comprehensive health.
This recognition highlights the importance of promoting projects health promotion taking into account the community perspective, the work preventive and the look of genre.
