The Moisès Broggi University Hospital Complex obtains the third resident position in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology

The Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology Teaching Unit (COT) of the Moisès Broggi University Hospital Complex (CHUMB) has achieved theaccreditation by the Ministry of Health for increase teaching capacity with a third resident doctor position per year.

Since its accreditation as a Teaching Unit in 1995, the CHUMB COT Service has more than met the healthcare, teaching and research quality indicators that have allowed it to receive accreditation to train, starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, a total of 15 residents each year.

This accreditation represents a milestone for CHUMB, since no other hospital in its healthcare category (group 5) has this teaching capacity, which positions it at the same level as highly complex hospitals.
