Next Friday, September 29, World Heart Day is celebrated and the Consorci Sanitari Integral will host different activities to commemorate it, from September 26 to October 5, as part of the Heart Week Conferences organized by cardiologists and nurses from the Cardiology Service of the Hospital de Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi and the Hospital General de l'Hospitalet (Integral Health Consortium centers), the primary care teams, and the sports and health managers of the different municipalities of Baix Llobregat and Hospitalet Nord.
In the lobby of the Hospital de Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi you will be able to find throughout the week of the 26th the Museum of Everyday Objects, an exhibition with the aim of conveying through a series of objects the impact of heart failure in the day-to-day life of people who suffer from it, becoming quite a challenge in their daily life.
In addition, on September 27 from 9.00:14.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., the information table for patients will be set up 'Take your pulse and avoid stroke' where Toñi Ortega and Lídia Isbona, Cardiology nurses, will teach everyone those interested in learning how they can control their heart rate and prevent stroke.
In the Auditorium of the same Hospital, on September 29 at 12.00 a Cardio Show will take place, where cardiologists and nurses from the center will represent the most common heart diseases in a fictitious cardiology consultation: ischemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation and heart failure to learn more about heart disease in a different way.
In the case of the activities promoted by the Consortium's CAPs, they will be led by professionals from primary care and the Cardiology service and will take place in different areas of the city of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, mainly in the Torre Barrina area - Marquesa Park.
The general program includes all the activities organized in the municipalities of Baix Llobregat.
