On May 8, the Health School of the CAP Sagrada Família organized a session on digital health literacy, focused on the use of the La Meva Salut app and aimed at elderly people in the neighborhood.
This activity is part of the community work carried out by the professionals of the School of Health, under the coordination of Laura Río, Community Emotional Well-Being Pointer, María Bosch, Primary Care Dietitian Nutritionist, and Beñat Bengoetxea, Primary Care Physiotherapist, but open to the collaboration of other health professionals from the CSI.
On this occasion, the session was facilitated by Dr. Marta Cárdenas, family doctor and member of the CAMFiC Digital Health Group, who provided practical training on the digital health space La Meva Salut. During the activity, the level of digital literacy of the attendees was explored and adapted resources were offered to promote self-management of health and access to health information through digital tools.
The initiative was very well received by the participants, highlighting the importance of continuing to promote digital literacy actions to promote the autonomy and well-being of the population.
