The Dos de Maig Hospital has been recognized as a finalist in three categories of the BSH Awards – Best Spanish Hospitals Awards® 2025, which distinguish the most outstanding healthcare centers in the State for their quality of care and efficiency.
In this seventh edition, held on October 7 at the Casa Convalescència in Barcelona, the center has been selected in the areas of Medical Processes, Surgical Processes i Value-Based Healthcare Study: Cataracts, three areas that reflect the excellence and commitment of Dos de Maig professionals to continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
The BSH Awards, organized by Hygia Benchmarking i Healthcare Benchmarking 3.0 (BS3), this year have had the participation of 149 hospitals throughout Spain (89 public and 60 private), from 15 autonomous communities. Catalonia led the participation with 44 centers and was, once again, one of the most recognized communities.
Participating hospitals have been evaluated based on more than 3.000 indicators i 110 clinical processes grouped into 11 areas, with the aim of measuring results in terms of quality, adequacy and efficiency.
