The initial forecast is that they will begin in mid-September 2023, and end at the end of 2024. They will consist of 9 phases. The calendar may be adjusted depending on the development of the works.
The residence will maintain the activity as usual and with maximum occupancy, following the instructions of the Department of Social Rights, but with adjustments to the space where the activity will take place.
The same plan of current activities will be maintained, including complementary services such as animal therapy (LUR), hairdressing and podiatry.
For the people served at the day center service, it is planned that from 12/10/2023 to 22/04/2023 they will do the activities in the center's gym (floor 0). From 22/04/2023 to 01/10/2024, the activities will take place in the communal dining rooms on floors 1, 2 and 3 of the centre.
The people served by the residential service on the floor affected by the work will carry out their usual tasks in the space where the day center is currently located (floor 0). These people will temporarily move their bedroom to another room.
Temporarily, and until the end of the 3rd phase of the works, the double rooms will be transformed into triples, and some singles into doubles. All relevant family members will be informed of which room the person being cared for will be moved to.
To assign the rooms in the best way, the residence's professional team will carry out a multidisciplinary assessment to evaluate each profile individually.
The space enabled to spend the day is what would correspond to the communal dining room of the plants. Visits can be made in the rooms, as long as they do not coincide with other family members at the same time.
In the same place where, according to the calendar, they develop their daily activity.
The works will force some routines to be adapted to suit the needs of the people served and will have to be distributed differently on the plants. The specific need to deploy reinforcement personnel will be assessed according to the needs of each moment.
