Research

We are committed to a model that facilitates the development of research projects, clinical trials and translational studies carried out in and from the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) and the Comprehensive Health Consortium (CSI), given its size and complexity, similar to some of the ICO's nodal centers.

Traditionally, translational trials and projects have been developed primarily in the field of colorectal tumors, breast and cancer of unknown origin. The service is in the process of opening up to studies in lung and prostate cancer as well.

    • Competitive and non-competitive Oncology projects at the CSI.
    • Relations and communications with the UIC-ICO.
  • Participation in ICO-l'Hospitalet Research:
    • Referrals for clinical trials at ICO-l'Hospitalet.
