Observational training activities are purely observational activities in order to see how a technique or procedure is carried out and, therefore, have a maximum duration of ten days. In no case are care tasks performed.
These activities are carried out by professionals working in another health centre, either in the State or abroad. In order to carry them out, they must be authorised by three people: the person directly responsible for the training, the head of service and the head of studies. During their stay, these professionals are supervised and tutored by a member of the Integral Health Consortium, who is responsible for them.
They can take place in any service or teaching unit accredited for specialized healthcare training.

The application for an observational training activity must be processed at least two months in advance of the planned date for it to be carried out. Professionals from the Comprehensive Health Consortium who wish to request an observational training activity will only need to submit the application form. Once authorized by the head of studies and approved by the Teaching Committee, the interested person will be notified.
