Observational training activities

Observational training activities

What do they consist of?

Observational training activities are purely observational activities in order to see how a technique or procedure is carried out and, therefore, have a maximum duration of ten days. In no case are care tasks performed.

These activities are carried out by professionals working in another health centre, either in the State or abroad. In order to carry them out, they must be authorised by three people: the person directly responsible for the training, the head of service and the head of studies. During their stay, these professionals are supervised and tutored by a member of the Integral Health Consortium, who is responsible for them.

They can take place in any service or teaching unit accredited for specialized healthcare training.

Read the sheet carefully. Application with the responsible declaration and the Confidentiality commitment to know the conditions and requirements of the activity.

The application for an observational training activity must be processed at least two months in advance of the planned date for it to be carried out. Professionals from the Comprehensive Health Consortium who wish to request an observational training activity will only need to submit the application form. Once authorized by the head of studies and approved by the Teaching Committee, the interested person will be notified.

If you would like to request an observational training activity, please fill out the application form and attach the following documentation:

  • Printed by Application and responsible declaration with personal identification data stating the objectives of the rotation.
  • Report from the person responsible for the health center where the interested person provides services, containing the institution's details and determining the specific objectives sought with the stay, duly signed and stamped and a letter from the institution where the interested person works (signed by the General Management or the Management) or from a scientific society that endorses their profession and practice, given that the Comprehensive Health Consortium does not have the power to validate official qualifications.
  • If they do not have one, they make a responsible declaration that endorses their qualifications and current practice, which they state in the Application and Responsible Declaration Document. The Consorci Sanitari Integral reserves the right to consider it sufficient as evidence.
  • Commitment report from the professional from the Comprehensive Health Consortium who will provide supervision and guardianship.
  • Confidentiality agreement signed.
