The session will consist of a short introduction on the late micro and macrovascular complications that patients with diabetes present, the importance of metabolic control in the prevention of these (with a summary of the scientific evidence in this regard), the presentation of the protocol of the Day Hospital: unit for the detection of chronic complications of diabetes, and finally the results of this protocol applied from 2010 to the present.
