On the occasion of the commemoration of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, which is held on June 15 each year, a talk open to professionals and the general public has been organized to raise awareness of the phenomenon of elder abuse, with the aim of providing information on how to detect this fact in the 'community area and how to act before a case. It is about giving visibility to a fact that is hidden in many cases because the victims do not have resources to report and take action.
The talk is given by Jordi Muñoz Iranzo, president of EIMA, the association for the investigation of elder abuse.
