Last Friday, the 1st session of orthogeriatrics at the Broggi was held in the auditorium of the Hospital de Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi - comprehensive care for the fragile patient with fracture of the proximal femur.
The aim of this session was to present the work done at the Hospital in relation to this issue five years after it was put into operation and to discuss options for improvement, while encouraging ways of collaboration in the continuity of care.
The session was coordinated by Miquel Videla, from the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Service of the Consorci Sanitari Integral, and featured different presentations by professionals from the organization's services (check program). In the latter, the Minister of Health, Boi Ruiz, attended, who then closed the day.
