UOCB team that performed the 100th surgery
From the first, made in November 2021
The day March 10, 2023 the Obesity and Bariatric Surgery Unit (UOCB) completed the 100th Bariatric surgery at CSI, since the first intervention that took place in November 2021.
All kinds of surgeries have been carried out: vertical gastrectomy, bypass gastric, SADIS, duodenal crossing and revisional surgery. The results are favorable with good weight evolution up to the moment and resolution of two or more disorders or diseases that occur in the same person, the comorbidities.
Just last week, five members of the Unit were able to attend the XXVI National Congress of the Spanish Society of Obesity Surgery (SECO) in Gran Canaria (Jordi Pujol, Sergi Sanchez, Paula Garcia-Sancho, Aida Vasquez and Luba Adrove).
