Last May 12, the Collblanc Companys Socials Residence held the meeting of "Erasmus for the elderly” that takes place every year with the Francisco Padilla Residence. The day began with a cordial welcome to the users and staff of the Residencia Fco. padilla
The visitors took a guided tour of the center's facilities and met the residents of Collblanc Companys Socials. In addition, the users and staff of the two residences did a joint gymnasium, which was made up of various dexterity, marksmanship and mime activities, among others.
Three groups (red, yellow and green) were performed and scored. At the end, the winning team received a diploma and was also given a souvenir photo of the day. Afterwards, the users of the Francisco Padilla Residence went to the Day Center where they enjoyed the food that was served that day at the Collblanc Companys Socials Residence and, after having lunch, left in the adapted transport.
The aim of the "Erasmus for the elderly" project is to promote the social relations of the users, facilitate contact and establish synergies between the professionals of both centres. All this applied to care centered on the person.
