44 works have been presented and four prizes have been chosen
The work with the title "A good start", by Luís Arigita, was the winning photograph of the Consorci Sanitari Integral's Breastfeeding Photography Competition and took first prize.
The rest of the winning photographs were:
- 2nd prize: “Enchanted with life”, by Sara González
- 3rd prize: “Link”, by Marta Castellarnau
- 4th prize: “Mirada”, by Manel Maya.
The Competition Jury has deemed it appropriate to choose 10 finalist works, instead of the five originally planned in the competition rules. The rest of the finalist works were:
– It falls tip over and rests on its body
– Deler
– Laughter for the mother
– Water immersion of the baby and the mother's breast
– Mischievous look
- So I sleep well
The winning photos and the finalists they will be permanently exhibited in the new breastfeeding room to promote a warm and well-being environment for mother and baby.
Before that, however, they will form part of an exhibition, together with the rest of the photographs submitted to the competition, at the Hospital General de l'Hospitalet, which have been 44 specimens in total.
The new lactation room at Hospital General de l'Hospitalet is available for women admitted to the Maternal and Child Area, for all those who require its services while in the hospital and for professionals who rejoin later of maternity
