Once again, Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi Hospital has hosted the annual conference that the Baix Llobregat Alzheimer's Family Association (AFABL) has organized with the Integral Health Consortium (CSI), the Primary Care Service of the Baix Llobregat Center and with the collaboration of the Sant Joan Despí Town Council on the occasion of Alzheimer's Day.
This year, the theme of the Conference was: 'The closest experts'; Alzheimer's and primary and specialized care services; Advantages of the Cuida'm card. They have participated as speakers: Àngel Jover, director of the SAP Baix Llobregat Centre; Asun Ávila, CSI neurologist, and Marta Balagué, CSI neuropsychologist.
At the presentation event, held yesterday afternoon at the Moisès Broggi Auditorium, Albert Pons, director of care at the CSI, was also present; Ester Moral, head of the Neurology service; Joan Bello, head of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Integrated Care Area; M. Rosa Giner, president of AFABL, and Antoni Poveda, mayor of Sant Joan Despí.
