Help us support the candidacy

This year 2024, the Hospital Dos de Maig will celebrate its centenary as a health facility in the city of Barcelona. One hundred years where we find major milestones and renowned professionals who influenced the health history and society in Barcelona, and in our country, such as the School of Nursing, the conversion into a specialty hospital in the 40s or the establishment of the first hyperbaric chamber in a civilian hospital.

The Dos de Maig Hospital, as part of the events celebrating its centenary, open candidacy to get the Cree de Sant Jordi, one of the most prestigious distinctions awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia to people or entities that have provided outstanding services to the territory, leaving a clear and firm mark, in this case, on health care in Catalonia.

For this reason, everyone who wants to show their support for the candidacy should fill out the Next form.

The more support the center has, the more likely it is to receive recognition from Catalan society for its contribution to healthcare during the last century.
