VII Meeting of the Catalan Societies of Clinical Neurophysiology and Electromyography at the Sant Joan Despí Hospital

During today, the Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi Hospital welcomes the VII Meeting of the Catalan Societies of Clinical Neurophysiology and Electromyography. The day is organized by the Neurophysiology section of the Neurology Service of the Consorci Sanitari Integral, with the support of the Catalan Societies of Clinical Neurophysiology and Electromyography.

The meeting is a professional meeting for reflection and updating in the matter, which this year is dedicated to the neurophysiological tools for spinal cord pathology. Nearly fifty professionals will attend the day, which includes in its program presentations of great scientific content around this pathology, by specialists of recognized prestige.

The day includes a presentation by Albert Prats, from the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Medicine of Barcelona, ​​dedicated to spinal cord anatomy, as well as another on the clinical aspects of spinal cord pathology, by the Miguel A. González-Viejo, from the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona. On the other hand, Joan Vidal, from the Guttmann Institute in Barcelona, ​​will talk about the EMS CI protocol.

During the day, a series of specialists in clinical neurophysiology will also explain where the diagnostic management of spinal cord pathology currently stands. In addition, M. Martí, from the Moisès Broggi Hospital, will be in charge of speaking about the reflexes of the sacred segments.
