About the Observatory
| The medical specialty of Neurology at Hospital Dos de Maig in Barcelona offers Specialized Medical Care to the adult population in five basic health areas of the Integral Health Area of Barcelona Dreta.
Its mission is to provide individualized and comprehensive care based on scientific evidence of excellence. Its assistance activity is focused on the attention of people in External Consultations and the Evidence Office. It also provides diagnostic and specialized support to the Hospitalization Units, Emergency Service, Day Hospital and Comprehensive Complexity Support Team (ESIC) of our Centre. It also participates proactively and synergistically with the Specialized Care Consultancies for Primary Care Doctors of the corresponding EAPs by RAE. The Neurology Service is a Joint Service with HSP, since January 2023. |
